Q.I plan on remodeling and bumping out my kitchen about 12 feet.
A.Any remodeling that requires the relocation of plumbing, electrical, structural, or HVAC has to have a permit. If you are just taking of some tile and replacing it or something similar then you don't need a permit.
1.00What are the best question to ask a customer when he calls for a remodeling projects ?
Q.I want to make a questinare for my customer service people. My clients they will call us for remodeling projects
what is the best list of question to be asked ?
A.1. What is your price range?
2. Have you seen a photograph of what you have in mind? Have the photo available to give us an idea of what you want?
3. Will you be doing the labor or will you have the labor outsourced? ( You can have contractors available for a fee or kickback, if they have no idea who to hire to get the work done.)

1.00Any opinions on remodeling Contractors in Tucson, AZ?
A.My opinion is that there are probably both good and bad contractors in Tucson, AZ ... just like in any other part of the country. If you are looking for a remodeling contractor, you might try your local chapter of the "National Association of Homebuilders". Their "Registered Remodeler" program screens members in an attempt to ensure that they are qualified and professional. They will provide you a list of member contractors that work in your area.
Good luck with your remodeling projects.
1.00How to get into residential remodeling?
Q.What kind of schooling or training do you need to get into residental remodeling.
A.Best to get a job working for someone very experienced who is willing to take on someone to train. If you have a votech type school near you, take some classes in construction there too.
1.00Does anyone know a good remodeling company in Columbus, OH?
Q.We need a custom remodeling company for a project in our home. Could anyone recommend some quality names or direct us. We would rather not use Home Depot type contractors. Price is important but not over reliability and quality.
A.Try these guys- Affordable General Contractors. I understand they do a lot of insurance recovery work, but their owner is a designer. They do excellent remodeling. Try (740) 657-3706
1.00What is the average cost per square foot of buying a new home vs remodeling?
Q.What are the basic costs per square foot prices of homes vs remodeling an existing home?
A.That's really not a question that can be answered. It's going to depend upon the quality of the construction. Cheap residential construction can start around $80/square foot and will go up from there, with high quality construction going from $120/square foot and up. This doesn't really include the property which can vary.
Remodeling is difficult to price because sometimes you won't know exactly what will have to be done until you get into it. It takes a lot of experience to bid remodeling work correctly.
Another factor is where in the country you are. Some areas cost more than others depending upon cost of living and land value.
