A Las Vegas, NV area house with a large, well designed fully outfitted kitchen is always priced higher because there is never a shortage of families who wish to buy such homes. That's because kitchens these days have turned into family and activity centers where the family gathers to have meals, children sit down to do their homework, and even for other family friendly uses like setting up an art work project, or even watching TV together. Kitchens are also quickly turning into social and entertainment centers, and people think nothing these days of walking into a friend's kitchen, grabbing a chair and making themselves comfortable! No matter what style or size of kitchen you have, you can always remodel a kitchen to give it a breath of fresh air.
Kitchen islands are becoming the most requested kitchen remodel features in American homes. If your existing kitchen plan does not include a built- in kitchen island, it absolutely must be included in your kitchen home improvement plans. A smaller kitchen can benefit from the extra counter space that can also double as an informal dining area. A small kitchen can also be made to look more spacious by tearing down a wall, and installing the kitchen island as a point of demarcation between the kitchen and the other areas. Generally, kitchen islands are constructed in color co ordination with the rest of the kitchen, although a completely unrelated color or style can work to create a bold look. Sizes can be rectangular, square, circular or oval, and you can even have rolling islands for areas where there is no space for a large island.
Simply by installing a new cabinet or counter tops, bringing in an island, opening up a few windows and adding coordinated appliances, you can give your kitchen an entirely new look. A kitchen remodel is one of the highest ROI investments you can make in your home with most people recouping more than 90 % of the cost of renovation in resale value. Since the kitchen is such a visible part of your Las Vegas, NV area home, investing in its appearance and functionality offers greater value for money than other home improvements.
I would like to convert my garage into an office. I would like to raise the floor so that it matches the house. The garage has a bathroom that also needs to be raised. Inside the garage is AC, and gas water heater. Gaage has already been enclosed by previous owner. Would prefer someone with references in garage conversions, so I can see your work.

We live in a 1 1/2 story house built in 1919. Our bathroom's ceiling is currently set up along the roof line and we would like to get a shed dormer to utilize the entire space. Currently can't fully stand to take a shower. We're looking at just building a dormer with a window and keeping the existing fixtures, claw foot tub and plumbing.
